Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026
The Sallyport app has no account system, cloud backend, or telemetry. This policy covers data stored by the app and data collected by sallyport.dev.
The Sallyport app
The app stores secrets, key metadata, SSH inventory, settings, and an audit journal in a local vault on your Mac. Secure Enclave and Touch ID gate access to the vault encryption key. The app does not transmit vault data to us. It connects to configured API hosts and SSH servers to execute requested actions, and to the signed update feed on sallyport.dev. Homebrew uses the same builds.
No telemetry
The app sends us no usage analytics, crash reports, or identifiers. We cannot see stored keys, agent sessions, or approvals.
This website
When configured, sallyport.dev uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and Sentry to diagnose site errors. Google and Sentry may process request and browser data under their own privacy policies. The site stores your language preference. The contact form sends us the name, email, and message you enter so we can reply. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser data under Cloudflare's privacy policy to filter spam.
What we keep
If you email us or use the contact form, we keep the correspondence as long as needed to handle the request. There are no user accounts or marketing lists. We do not sell personal data; website providers process only the data needed to run the site and contact form.
Your rights
Write to [email protected] to request a copy or deletion of correspondence we hold about you. Deleting the local vault deletes the data stored by the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be noted in the release notes.
